- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I do a lot of business with preferred credit union, so that's why I won't give them 1 star. However, this review is more specific to the branch in Greenville and for whoever works on that drive though window. I have to go here to get change for my place of employment and it's on my lunch break. The last thing I want to do is wait in line during my break... It takes way, way too long to do a simple transaction! I also got the wrong denominations back on my most recent trip. I gave them a note with what I needed that they must have barely looked at. Granted my handwriting may be bad, but they never said "hi" or asked me what I needed at all, so I guess I just get what I get!? Argh. Also an envelope might be nice to put my cash in that I get back. Maybe they are severely understaffed or something. Suffice it to say; they can be very frustrating. I'll give them a better review if they can improve their customer service skills. Again, I have met many employees who are nicer inside and this review is not for them. Beware the drive through window at this one! That being said, please support your local credit union instead of a big bank if you can. I work in customer service so I may be more sensitive than most. Edit: I'm upping my star rating by one, because I have not really had a negative experience again since I originally posted this review 3 months ago.
